Code of Conduct

Note: this should be considered a living document in a very real and literal sense. It is sentient. It has a will of its own. Oh, and it will get updated regularly.

• Do not insult, mock, or otherwise antagonize other users for any reason!
• Racism is absolutely not tolerated under any circumstance
• Stalking other users, online or off, is not tolerated
• Respect others' beliefs and values unless you simply cannot do so ethically
• Cyber bullying should be avoided in public channels
• Unwanted sexual advances have no place in public channels - keep that kind of talk to private conversations, please
• When describing a reduced need for human interactions, you must use percentages as opposed to raw numbers. Stating that "online ordering just saved me from saying 45 words to humans" is meaningless when there is no context. How many words did you normally have to use? If it was 20, well, what the fuck, guy? If it was seven hundred ninety two, then the online ordering was not of much benefit.
• Redistribution of wealth is acceptable only so long as the server and domain name hosts come out with more money than everybody else.
• Physical violence against other users for any reason will result in an immediate and permanent ban
• Murdering other channel members is absolutely not okay. Not even if you got paid a reasonable sum of money by others in the channel.

There are a few caveats to the above rules:

• Members who have been in good standing for longer than a year may be given a warning instead of a ban for violating most rules
• Members will be warned instead of banned if the offending statement(s) were used in a sarcastic or clearly humorous way, including but not limited to: jokes, the use of double-entendre, and puns
• Five-dimensional beings are subject to being banned at any time without cause, and have no rights
• Members who are demonstrating a quirk in their personality may receive a warning instead of being banned
• Members whose proxies have been hacked may have breaches in the code of conduct ignored indefinitely
• Members who violate the above terms, but have at least ONE (1) vowel in their name will receive a warning instead of being banned
• Members who do not receive a written warning within FIVE (5) minutes of an offense are exempt from the rules indefinitely
• Members whose personal beliefs include the right to ruin others' lives may be exempt from certain rules if they present proper authorization tokens to the channel admins
